The History of Good Works! – A Dallas Based Charity

Buidling community, one child at a time.

High Profile Staffing has always been a company with a heart!  Since our inception, we have maintained a commitment to giving back to our community through volunteering and charitable contributions.  In the summer of 2008, we decided that it was time to strive to do even more for the businesses we serve and the DFW community.  Our team decided to make a difference by giving back, with the help of our customers, with a program we call GoodWorks!

Initially, we brainstormed on several ways we could give back and, as a group, decided that giving back to our clients’ community outreach programs was the right direction.  We also wanted to continue the work we were doing with Girls, Inc. to help make an ongoing difference.  We made a plan that was a win-win for our clients and our organization.

All of our clients can participate because we take a percentage of our total sales every six months and give back.  Through GoodWorks! we either donate to our clients charities or donate to Girls, Inc. on their behalf.  This program has enabled us to have a broader reach through our client companies than we could on our own.  It has given a single mission, with multiple arms, and has instilled a sense of true meaning and purpose around the way we approach our business.

Our clients, temporary employees, and staff have all been able to enjoy the benefits of

giving back and making a positive difference in the lives of others.  We have received tremendous support and praise from our clients.  Dianne Reynolds from MD Buyline said, “Good Works! is a wonderful program and is truly appreciated. It’s just one more thing that makes High Profile so unique and great to work with!”

Through the Good Works! program, we have made donations to over 30 charities across the DFW metroplex including Ronald McDonald House, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children’s Medical Center, Dallas Museum of Art, March of Dimes, and many others.  In 2010, we were honored to receive the Care Award from the “>America Staffing Association (ASA). This national award recognizes outstanding corporate social responsibility initiatives—business processes that produce an overall positive effect on society—among ASA member companies and affiliated chapters.

The difference that the GoodWorks! program makes in the community does not go unnoticed by the charities that receive donations.  Lori Palmer, CEO of Girls, Inc., praises the program saying, “We are so excited to have an organization like High Profile involved with us!  We deeply appreciate both their fundraising support and assistance as volunteers with our girls.  High Profile has made a real difference in the lives of these young people.”
